What is the Certify tab and how do I use the information?

The Certify tab displays your current SAP Certification status.

o   Valid: this section lists all of your certificates that are valid and that require no further action.

o   Expiring Soon: this section lists all of your certificates that expire soon because

·         It requires a stay current assessment to keep the certificate valid OR

·         The certificate is within 6 months of expiration

o   Expired: this section displays the certificates that are expired due to

·         The stay current assessment not completed within the required time OR

·         Reaching the standard validity period

The information provided in the Certify tab will help to quickly show you your SAP Certification status and any required maintenance.

How do I use the Certify tab to stay current?

a)     Check the “Expiring Soon” section for any expiring certifications. There will be a button linking to the corresponding stay current web app content and assessment. The required due date is displayed.

b)     When you have passed the assessment, the certificate moves to the “Valid” section (updated weekly) and the new due date of the upcoming delta release is shown. The “stay current” button is still active but there is no more action required.

c)     If you didn´t pass the assessment within the given time period, the certificate is expired and moves to the “Expired” section. You will then be required to re-certify, to obtain a new SAP Certification & digital badge. To get certified again and to re-enter the stay current program, complete the latest associate certification in the SAP Certification Hub.

How do I use the Certify tab when I’m up to date with my SAP Certification status?

a)     When the certificate does not require any stay current, it is listed in the “Valid” section with the due date of 10 years after issuing. ATTENTION: the validity will change to 5 years starting January 1st 2022.

b)     6 months before this due date is reached, the certificate is moved to the “Expiring Soon” section, to indicate that this certificate is soon to be expired.

c)     When the 10 year (5 year starting January 1st 2022) validity is reached, the certificate is moved to the “Expired” section and the digital badge image is removed.

d)     You will need to re-certify on the newest release via the Certification Hub.
