SAP Universal ID



* This guide is for SAP Universal ID enabling you to easily switch between users and manage your account profile.

 

1. Set up SAP Universal ID

 

2. Add recovery email

  • As a certified SAP Consultant, we would like to highlight the importance of having two verified email addresses assigned to your SAP Universal ID.

    Ensure that all your earned certifications are visible by completing your Universal ID setup by adding an additional email address for recovery purposes in the Universal ID account manager. At least one additional email address for recovery purposes is mandatory to participate in Stay Certified.

    Please add the additional verified email to your Universal ID by following the steps below:
          1.  Open account.sap.com and login to your universal ID
          2.  Click the Add Account button
          3.  Enter the 2nd email address
          4.  Receive verification code on that email 
          5.  Enter the verification code
          6.  Link all accounts that are found with that email
    Note: If encounter the error of “E-mail xxx is already linked to another UID account” when adding the email, please contact the appropriate support team by submitting a ticket on the Universal ID portal to delete the another UID.

5. Update an SAP Universal ID

  • If the email address has changed due to a company name/domain update or S-user ID email address changes, then the user has to add the new email address/domain to their SAP Universal ID in the SAP Universal ID Account Manager.
    And the new S-user email address linked to an SAP Universal ID needs to be added to the SAP Universal ID

6. Delete my SAP Universal ID

  • Please follow these steps to delete your SAP account:
          1. Visit https://account.sap.com and log in with the Universal ID (UID) you wish to delete.
          2. Navigate to the "Privacy" section.
          3. Click on the "Request account deletion" button to submit a request for UID deletion.

    Alternatively, you may seek assistance from UID Support. To do so, visit the Universal ID Portal and click on "Contact us" to request UID deletion.

  • Please note that deleting your account will permanently erase all data associated with your SAP Universal ID, rendering it irretrievable.
    This includes your SAP Certifications linked to the UID, which will also be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
